Anyone taking time off over the Olympics to go and watch with the family or are you getting away from it all or just carrying on as normal.
My son has said he wants to go and see an event. Did not get any tickets and was not willing to put in for loads incase I got them and broke the bank. It does feel good that it is coming but so commercial that many will not get a chance to see an event.
I will probably just work over that time and watch it with the kids on TV. If we can get something reasonably priced for the paralympics may try one of those events though.
Got tickets for one of the Team GB football matches at Wembley: me and my boy and some others from the local football club. Apart from that, we'll just watch it from home.
Ooo, that should be good.
I do hope that they release some more tickets in a normal fashion, so that you can buy what is actually available.
I do have a sense of excitement with the Olympics, but that is tempered by the fact that its commercialisation is the reason stadiums may be empty but ordinary people cannot get tickets.
I put in for tickets in several events and got none!!
So we are going away instead - will try to catch some of the events but feel let down by the whole ticket fiasco
