hi i work full time but not great money split with ex was not on the house tenercy so have no where properly to live so cant have kids stay over went to council who was not very interested i cant afford to rent on my own how has every1 else coped should i get sack or give up work would that help with housing and legal aid and stuff rather not but getting fed up of not being able to get legal aid or housing to have kids stay over with me

Not got direct experience of what you are going through, but unfortuately, even if you weren't working, I don't think the councils place you as a high priority on the housing list as you aren't the resident parent, and I don't think they would provide housing with capacity for you to have your children.
