hi dads,
i thought one way of staying positive in this grim situation, is to think or plan which nice places to take the kids on days out, once the lockdown is relaxed or lifted.
any ideas or suggestions? can be anywhere in the country. coastal areas, sea sides. any stunning, fun places you can recommend to visit with kids?
thanks
π
I can see it being relaxed but with continued social distancing for quite a long time, so I would say open spaces will be the best, and away from the popular spots. While the weather is nice - perhaps go out at night into the middle of nowhere and look at the stars, it's quite amazing how much you can see when you avoid light polution - take a picnic and hot chocolate.
yes i went to a sky park last year in scotland.
was stunning: https://forestryandland.gov.scot/visit/forest-parks/galloway-forest-park/dark-skies
Didn't know about that - I intend to go up to Falkirk to see the kelpies again once it's all clear, I think I will add an extra night and detour to this π
