Hi guys. An update, some of you are aware i've been in despair recently. I've been to court and had residential overnight contact granted. Although this was not as regular as I would have liked, it is punctuated by a no residential contact in between with the promise of reassessment over the next few months upon return to court.
Thanks again to everyone who has been there for me. I feel a little unsure tbh. Ecstatic at the prospect of seeing my son over a weekend but a bit reticent that its only once a month but a start at least.
Thank you to everyone who has been there for me.
Hi Brokendad,
Good news at last ! Well done !
It's a step in the right direction and as I understand it, your ex didn't want overnight contact to happen
because your little one is too young ?
I personally view it as positive that you are due back in court, they will see that your child has come to
no harm and may well extend the overnights to more in the very near future.
Take care
Kirsten
It's a step in the right direction with which you can set a precedent for the next hearing. Very chuffed for you both π
