Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum. I'm not really sure how it all works to be honest, but I have a query. I work Full time and have my 2 boys from the same ex partner, every 2nd weekend for 3 nights overnight. I am now paying an arranged payment, not through CSA for these nights based on my yearly income.
I also take them for 15 more nights throughout the year for holidays. Do these nights need to be added to the total of weekend nights to recalculate.
Kind regards.,
Christian.
Are you using the cms calculator then paying this yourself to the ex ?
If so then I’d take all the nights you have them in total over the year as your basis for the calculation
to be honest, I'd pay the £20 to open a case with CMS and let them do the calculation - you will still pay directly to your ex, but you then don;t have the possible issue of her opening a case with them and claiming that you haven't paid, plus if you open the case, then you are the one who can close it when the time comes due.
