My wife refused to continue Mediation and insists on going through court. I have this is very expensive and unnecessary, my wife stated that "we can not agree on anything I want the Judge to decide"
One year later and 20k spent. The judge has determined the divorce as a needs based divorce and everything needs to into the pot.
My wife has had a year to get a better paid but still works only 26 hours per week in a low paid job, despite being degree qualified.
Note from my research that wife gets 60% based on needs. This is shocking has wife brought nothing into marriage. I was prepared for a 50/50 split, but courts seem to favour a woman in all instances. I'm not rich. It really feels surprising that courts are so biased.
I'm much older than my wife, but this is not being considered in judgement.
Wife will not discuss children, so faced with more court costs to resolve that issue. Any good news stories out there for men?
Welcome to the wonderful world of Equality for everyone....unless of course you happen to be a heterosexual male! in which case you can't speak out because you'll be branded as sexist or should we now say "genderist".
