[Solved] Who decides?

Curious if anyone know the answer to this , should be, simple question.

If 2 separated parents cannot agree on where their kid should be medically cared for, ie. medical records / GP surgery, who decides?

I've tried the medical practioners, local GP and neither are committed to making a decision. Could it be the courts or is there another body that eludes me!!!

Thanks in advance.

Did you check out the two leads I gave you in your previous thread, or contact your local health authority?

I did yes. the people at the medical practitioner services said to get the records moved over to my local GP surgery. . However what they wouldn't commit to whether the ex could just get them sent back to her again or whom has final say on where they should be.

If none of the above can offer any solutions you may be able to apply for a Specific Issue Order, if there is a Scottish equivalent. I've found this info whilst searching for answers for you. It does mention Specific Issue Orders and it does concern Scottish law so perhaps this is something you could look into.

You could also contact Families Need Fathers Scotland, they have regular meetings and may be able to give you the support you need.
