[Solved] War Pension and Divorce

Hello,
I have asked the following question to solicitors, British Legion, Veterans Agency and various other organisations and I have done some extensive searching on the internet. However, no one can answer me the question.
I am currently in divorce proceedings and I receive a War Pension. How should this be taken into consideration when negotiating a financial settlement? My view s that Yes I should declare it but it should not be part of the negotiations. I definitely know that it can't be made part of a pension sharing order.
Answers welcome.

Is there any child maintenance involved - I believe that if there is, then a war pension isn't included in the calculation for this.
