[Solved] Variation order, I receive a tax free war pension.

I was medically discharged from the RN and received a medical (war) pension that is tax free. As part of the court order we agreed to pay 1/3 of my pension and top up to £500 (£142). Once the year was up my ex went to the CSA. The CSA assessed me at £7 a week because of this pension. I am in full time work and we asked for a variation order based on my current pay. The CSA added the £7 to the £77. To my mind this should not have been added together and once the letter came through with my payments it looked that way as the £332.21 per month was £76.66 per week. I received this years and they have put £365 in arrears and added the £7 pounds into my new assessment.
Is this addition correct? It seems unfair that my ex already has 1/3rd of this and now takes an extra £1 a day?

It sounds quite complex, so I'm not sure what it should be. I would ask the CSA for a breakdown of the calculation, and also for an explanation of why that is added in, but otherwise you could make a complaint about the service.
