I have recently through the courts gained shared residency of my daughter on a 50/50 basis but am appalled that since the court ruling have found out that I am not entitled to any money towards the upkeep of my little girl as the benefits system are unable to pay more than one parent and therefore my ex is adamant that the money is payed to her and therefore hers to keep! to add insult to injury I still have to pay CSA payments to my ex even on the weeks my daughter is living with me and no one seems able to help in any way so I just wondered if anyone else was having the same problems and what if anything you were able to do about it? Many thanks
Have a read through this thread, it covers the same question.
I think you should continue to insist that as you have a court order for 50/50 basis, but if you are getting nowhere it might be worth contacting your MP.
