I have child contact Trial hearing coming and until now I have been self-litigating. In last hearing Judge didn’t accept Cafcass 7 report recommendations about BBR involvement and listed the case for 1 day trial hearing. Cafcass recommended no contact until BBR is complete.
I don’t want to pay the Barrister for representation by the fact that if judge would have convinced by her allegations then he should have made decision in earlier 2 hearings. Am I right in thinking that way?
The contact order is still no contact until now.
Would you recommend self-litigation for trial as well? How daunting the experience could be? What points the other side will try to prove?
I was quite nervous at last 2 hearings but got through these, do you think the trial will be more nerve wracking.
Please advise!
Hi There,
.
I have never been through a trial only court, so I don't know how daunting this is, I would maybe look at a McKenzie Friend to go with you if you would like someone to support you, they can't talk for you but they will be able to help you prep and be in the court room with you for support.
