Evening everyone ,
What’s the best way of printing text message evidence and Facebook messenger messages ready for court justvwnating to know what’s the best way of using this as evidence . ?
Make sure you are only submitting evidence if a statement of evidence has been requested.
I would place 2-4 text messages per piece of A4 for printing.
As you refer to the evidence in the written part of your statement, include a reference such as 'exhibit 1' and mark the relevant piece of evidence with the same reference & attach to the back of the statement.
If you haven't been asked for a statement of evidence but feel that the messages are important, take 3 copies of the evidence with you, refer to it in your position statement and either let the court know you have copies of it with you or ask for permission to file it.
