[Solved] Son has my last name on birth certificate but..

I'm a bit confused my son has my last name on his birth certificate but on csa paper work he has my ex last name? Is she aloud to use her last name ? Thanks

Hi there

Have you spoken to the CSA about this?

It's my understanding that your ex can pretty much call your child by her surname, except on official documents such as a passport and exam certificates....I would think this would apply to the CSA too.

If you are named on the birth certificate, and your child was born after December 2003 then you have Parental Responsibility and she cannot change your child's name officially by deed poll or court order without your consent.
