Hi all. Wondering if any members know a good solicitor for dads in lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire? Thanks
Hi
Depending on what you need one for it will likely be cheaper to use a direct accces barrister if you’re thinkng about starting proceedings in the family courts
hi,
don't use solicitor. will charge you £200 for 1 hour chat lol.
go on official direct access portal and hire a barrister for each hearing:
Even if using barrister you can do a lot of the form
Filling / litigation yourself and save some more coins ...them doing it does take a lot of Strain off you though

hi,
i dont know much about non-mol. there is some info here:
https://www.dad.info/forum/legal-eagle/41674-contesting-a-non-molestation-order-any-success
I am pretty sure if you been issued with a non molestation order that's the end of matters. you are meant to contest it before it is issued as there is normally a hearing to get your side across. if you are a final hearing u want to fully focus on what child contact you can get
I don't know about others, but my ex filed non molestation order without me knowing anything about it and it lasted till my final hearing ,which I think it's very similar to your experience. My next and last hearing I could come across with my side of story but nobody really cared or tried listen to so I had to go for cross undertaking but I don't advise that as this will bite you in the future .Best option if you have some time, is to file application to see your child .State that is urgent and try to connect it with your existing case for the next hearing ,it'll save you time .
if not possible try for interim contact as other advise
I tried to ask judge to file application on the spot for contact with my child but I was refused .Funny 14month later judge done that by herself .
I wish you all the best and try not to agree with them if that don't go in your favour
