I realise this is an extremely rare situation but I thought I'd bring it up.
My children and I were building snowmen. The neighbours have been trying to sell their home and recently they took down the for sale signs, lay them on the floor and cut the posts short. It snowed and the boards were covered so you couldn't see them and of course my daughter slipped on them - she nearly took her eye out on the shortened post - had it been closer to the road she could have had a serious accident.
It's one of those things you just wouldn't think of - before it snows, the abandoned signs are just an inconvenience and a bit of a mess. After it snows, if you haven't noticed them, they're a slip hazard hidden by the snow.
Apart from that we had a great time - just thought I'd mention it. Just in case.
