[Solved] Shared Residence!?

Can someone please explain the term shared residence. I'm applying for a child arrangement order for defined contact, and I've heard the term "applying for shared residence", but I'm not sure what difference that would have on my rights or Responsibility's as a parent with a child arrangements order.

Hi Jack

Shared residence doesn't necessarily mean 50/50, in an order, instead of saying 'child lives with the mother and spends time with the father' it would say 'the child lives with the mother on xxxx days and the father on xxxx days'.

Here's a link which might help
