Does anyone know if we can send in our details to the court earlier than 7 days before the hearing? The letter from the court says 7 days before, but I am wondering if that means no later than 7 days before, or whether I have to email them my details literally 7 days before which seems very specific.
Hi, what details are you talking about? A position statement or something? You can send that sort of document earlier if you want to. Remember anything you send to court, you also have to send to the other side.
For these remote hearings we have to send in our phone number. It says to send it in 7 days before the hearing (it doesn't say 'at least 7 days before' or 'no later than', for example, but I am wondering if I can send it in earlier and get it out the way. I don't want to do that if it's not going to be accepted though. I've been trying to contact the court to find out but can't get through.
It should be fine to send it in earlier but be sure to include your case reference number so they can tie it up
