I have my s7 report back from CAFCASS and my 2nd hearing in a couple of weeks. Without going into detail the s7 report is encouraging and recommends phased reintroduction to contact. This is fine but there are certain bits of contact that need firming up. Such as pick up from school on friday for a weekend, summer holidays etc.
I am concerned that if there is too much grey area my ex will again dictate the times my children see me. This went on too much and led to court action.
What do i need to have in place for 2nd hearing. Is it wise to challenge bits of the report in court and how is best to do this?
hi,
usually after S7 reportis out, court will want you to write a position statement/responses to the S7 report. check court papers and see what it says for you to do. so you could write along the lines that you agree with the recommendations, but you need to sort other issues out, like arrangements for school holidays, holidays abroad etc. its ok to disagree with report too. try reach these agreements with your ex at next hearing. if you can't then it goes to a final hearing.
Thanks Bill. Did position statement and negotiated an interim contact arrangement pending final hearing.
