[Solved] Really need help. Could I be jailed ?

Let's say there is a high court order stating that you must facilitate your children going on holiday abroad, and that you must help obtaining passports, and you do not, what is the worst that can happen.

Also if you were advised by legal representation that you must comply and signed the passports, only to find out that by doing so it may aid your child's abduction, and you try and stop their travel, again what is the worst that can happen when you get to the high court for the final residency hearing?

Worst case scenario, I am found in contempt of court, how likely are they to jail me and if they do how does that affect residency?

Thanks everyone !

Not sure if its the same but a county court stated i was to produce and hand in my daughters passport to the court and even though is was 14 and i had letters from school, social services and my daughter asking for me to keep it and not hand it in as she was scared mum was going to more her abroad. I had the kids living with me while mum lived in Spain. While I stood my daughter ground and said i havent got and that it is locked away in a family member safety depost box at the bank i was given 2 weeks to hand it in. when i still refused to hand it in now saying i lost it the judge told me straight she will give me 1/2 hour to find it or face jail time. Hence i found it pretty quick as the answer to your worse scenario question is how do you look after your children while in jail.

Tbh its better not to have the passport in the courts hands as it does cause alot of hassle to get it back out again. My daughter just applied for her passport (22) and having issues as she cant return her old one, its not stolen or lost , bottem line gunna cost to get her old passport back off the court and without it cant apply for a passport as an adult.

Courts really don't like people being in contempt -it can be quite s serious matter, and as above, can easily land you in jail if you refuse to coopperate.
