As I have now started paying through CMS based on gross salary an increase off £ 290 a month
Does my X pay tax on money received as in my eyes it is tax free to her
Plus be careful and check amount CMA say you earned
HMRC sent then my earnings for tax year 14/15 not 15/16
£4000 pound less earned in 15/16
CMS would not accept P60 for both years and 12 months payslips as evidence for review
I had to go to HMRC for a letter stating this
Thoughts please

Hi, no, your ex won't pay tax on Child Maintenance, it's also usually disregarded income when claiming benefits as well. The amount you pay is supposed to be what you contribute to your child, not money for your ex, so it wouldn't make sense to tax and reduce it?
