How can you get proof of your parental responsibility if you already have it, because you are signed as your childs father on their birth certificate?
Is their any documentation that can be obtained, apart from a court order?
🙁
Hi there and welcome
If you are named on the birth certificate and your child was born after December 2003 then PR is automatic. Prior to Dec 2003 if you were married then you have PR and if not PR can be obtained through court order or aParental Agreement.
If you need proof that you have PR a copy of the birth certificate or a court order will suffice.
Here's a link to the government guidelines, if you are having trouble getting someone to accept you have PR perhaps you could print this off and show it to them along with the birth certificate/court order.
