What is all this about? My ex wife has kids 4 nights I have them 3 ,rather than work out a payment for 1 night I don't have kids CMS work out I need to pay her for 4 nights she has them as she is primary carer-she also receives all child benefits through this.

hi,

that sounds nutty. if you dont have a court order then theres not a lot you can do about this. however i read recently here, that someone gave to cms evidence of calendars/emails, messages between parents of agreed child arrangements. and CMS followed that and adjusted payments accordingly.

Unfortunately those are the rules and yes, I agree it doesn’t seem fair.
