Once position statement has been completed ... should it be submitted to court? Do I have to give a copy to the ex solicitor as soon as I submit to court or can send it across couple days before the court date?

thanks.

If you've been asked to submit a position statement by the court on a specific date then you would file it on that day anytime before 4pm and send the other parties a copy.

If you haven't been asked to provide a statement then you can wait and file it nearer the court date, but you would still need to provide the other parties with a copy at the same time.....even providing a copy to the court and other side on the day, before going into court....in that case you would hand a copy to the clerk on arrival and ask them to put it before the judge.
