As I have recently been the victim of forced parental alienation for no other reason than pure malice, I thought I would try to take a stand. If a mother or father who the children reside with decides they don't want you around or seeing the children then that's that. There are no legal support networks in place to support alienated parents until lengthy and expensive mediation and court proceedings are resolved. The children involved do not get a say in this and often have strong relationships with the alienated parent. Therefore the forced separation hits a lot of kids hard. I know it did mine.
In order to change this, current legislation needs to be revised to give the police and any other relevant agency greater powers to intervene and order the malicious parent to stop their behaviour or risk consequences. If there is no evidence of risky behaviour or threats from the alienated parent then this must be looked into.
Please sign my petition to lobby the UK Government to address this. Signing this will take less than 1 minute and is absolutely free. Please share with everyone and anyone you know, any groups on social media or email etc. Thank you
