:woohoo: HI all, Wife and I had a baby boy just over 3 weeks ago and all is going well. Baby Samuel rocks!!
I will be honest when i say i have never felt so overwhelmed in all my life but in a good way. For me being a very outdoor sporty person (wife also) i havent minded hanging up the running shoes for a while and rocking my Dad Bod for a few months (i Hope) Would love to speak to like minded people about this and expectations, running with a baby/child in a stroller etc
Anyway I am back at work after 2 weeks off Paternity and feel like i have bene hit by a wrecking ball and a tad guilty for leaving the wife/baby but it only natural.
Looking forward to speaking to a few on here
Brian
Hi Brian and welcome to the Forum π
Huge congratulations to you both on the arrival of your baby boy..... You're so right, it is overwhelming and life changing, but so exciting too. :woohoo:
It's difficult to settle into a routine for the first couple of months and most new parents are exhausted from night feeds, but it will pass and pretty soon your little one will be developing his own unique little character.
Here's a link to our Fatherhood section, if you haven't found it already
Congratulations to you all π Don't hang up your sports shoes for too long - the earlier you can reasonably get your son being active, the more he's going to love it when he's older
