Hi I'm a dad that has not seen his kids in 7 months I have to go court for an alleged assault which is nonsense as it was her. I've submitted a c100 but now trying to accuse me of child abuse and alcohol misuse this is absolutely false what should I do regarding this. And I think when investigating domestic violence I think the police should get both sides of the story and not just the females version of events equal opportunities my left toe.

Hello
I’m in a similar position- accusations etc that seemed to have evolved out of nothing suddenly.
I’ve had DV thrown at me, which I deny- and there is nothing on me, no evidence- no record, despite of the level of allegations made. Also I find that some scenarios in the past have had things ‘added’ - for more flavour
I feel that the way the system works is that boxes need to be ticked, in that I mean legal aid
My ex gets legal aid- disgusting and an abuse of the system. I have no convictions or records of violence etc - just her word.
With your alcohol abuse, I think you could have a test for that although anything she says is just her word unless there is evidence
