I would love to hear from you if you are a divorced / separated dad that lives / works in a different area to where your children live! I would also love to hear from you if you know how I could get hold of an idea of numbers nationally - do you know who I could approach for this and how I could approach them to find this out?
I am curious about how many dads in the UK might be in this situation - just because this applies to me I might be 1 of only 10 in the UK that are in this situation. If it turns out I am 1 of 1000 or more we might be able to put our heads together and begin to come up with ideas to support ourselves / each other in getting to spend quality time with our children...
Might be worth contacting your local FNF (families need fathers) group - they may have some idea of statistics, though of course, it depends on what distance you class as separate, and also a lot may go under the radar because the parents have come to some arrangement amicably.
