Hello All
My wife has refused mediation, turned down the offer of a meeting with parents and told me to discuss anything to do with finances through solicitors.
How long does it take for a financial order to complete once it has been submitted to the court?
I will have to represent myself so does anyone have any advice on how to prepare?
Cheers
Matt
Hi There,
.
I don't know how long it takes, but I do know that self representing through divorce can be quite tricky, If you want to self represent, then it may be worth having a solicitor on hand to consult with, you wouldn't need to have them attend but if they were able to be contactable while you were going through things it could help.
.
There are lots of loop holes that can catch you out, and as your ex is using a solicitor they may try and use them to get her a better deal.
