Dose any body know if I have to give up my council house to my wife and daughter. it's only in my name
or will they re-house me or my wife and daughter
I would give the council a call, or CAB. You might find the information on the council website.
I would say they are more likely to re house a woman and child than a single man.
thanks mojo
have called both cab saying because she the one that going. They said she bed her bed then she cam lie in it
council say its mine unit she takes me to court.
so getting a bit stress out
Well from the sound of it you have rights as its your tenancy... You would have to throw her out for her to be eligible for B&B or the offer of alternative council accommodation. How would you feel about doing that to your child? It's a difficult position you are in!
You could offer to help her with the deposit for a private rental...and i think that councils also have a rental bond scheme where they will loan the deposit and advance rental for people on benefits or low income and then when the housing benefit is sorted and back dated you have to repay it.
thanks
cant throw them out
thanks for the rental bond scheme renting private my be the way forward
thanks again
