Hi all im new to this, But looking for advice, I have just separated from my wife after 13 years, I was the house husband for all this time, But before separating we have been living in France, but were about to move back to England. I send my son to live with her and her grand parents because of the new school term but since that we split up Im now stuck in France with no money income job or access to my child

she has decided to stop all bills on the house and is forcing me to move out

She wont answer any of my email and i only get to see my boy for about 4 hours one day a month because i have to travel to the uk and use what little money i have to see him

during our marrage she controlled everything financially and just gave me money each month to live on. this is now gone. does anyone know what my rights are?

im stuffed and struggeling

Hi there

I would try and get some legal advice, I've had a quick scout around and have come up with this

http://www.connexionfrance.com/french-marriage-regimes-11934-news-article.html

I'll look further later, but perhaps there is an equivilent of the Citizens advice bureau in France.

There are English language "living in France" fora so you could try asking on, for eg, Complete France to see if anyone has experience of your situation.
