its safer for the kids if you go wait at the door. at first ex family would bring kids to my car. then one day their retarded mum just opened front door to block of flats and pushed the kids out. near busy high st. so better to be at the door to avoid stupid situations like this.

Mad I just don't understand why these things have to happen in such a cold way if you're a nice guy an your calm and cival then why the awkward tension

Don't try and understand someone who is that bitter. Just deal with it the best way you can for the sake of your kids. If they ask any questions just say mummy and daddy aren't friends anymore.
