Hi,
I spoke with my CAFCASS officer today to chat quickly about her report. Just before our interview 6 weeks ago i was torn on how i was going to approach it, was i to be honest, was i to tear the respondent apart, was i to lie and make myself look great, i just didnt know what to do. In the end i decided to be totally honest and straight up and it paid off, as she pointed out today she could see i was honest, open and straight forward to the point. This thread is not to ask advice its to just give to some advice, if your going to have any sort of CAFCASS involvement then just be honest as it totally pays off as they are trained to sniff out bull [censored]
Good Luck Guys
Paul
That's good advice Paul, it takes courage to be honest when there are things you'd rather not talk about but I think it shows how serious a person is about wanting to put things right when they are prepared to do that....and as the Officer has said, she could see that.
Best of luck
thanks mojo, much appreciated..........
You're welcome...you've come a long way from that angry man that first arrived here! I'm sure you'll get there Paul.
Thanks man, its nice that you remember me.
I am no expert and i say that to everybody i have given advice to on this site, but i have first hand knowledge and experience of what happens in court etc and i will be more than happy to contribute on this site in the future as i know the pain of not seeing your children.
