I have been home educating my young son for KS1 Math and English and was finding it a bit channelling as I myself am not that good with english.
I have tried some online tools but most of them are paid subscription. Can anyone point me in the right direction to where I can find some useful resources that will aid my son in learning better Math and English.
Thank you
Sorry maat but in my opinion if you have concerns about your teaching abilities and do not wish to pay for the online tools, you should consider sending your child to school. Their education is far too important to take chances with!
Perhaps you can look for other home schoolers in your area, they may be able to point you in the right direction.
Hi There,
There are some very good learning books available, I know my step son has some he got from school to help prepair him for his SAT's, they have the answers in the back which is great as the maths they now learn seems different from when I learn't, that along with the fact I hated school and didn't have much interest means that sometimes it's hard to keep up with what they are doing and also the way they now work it out as that has also changed.
I do agree with Mojo, if you are concerned about his education then getting some help or sending him to school will be the better option.
