Hi all.
I have my first telephone interview with CAFCASS next week.
Is there a particular section on here where I can find help?
Cheers

Hi...........Just wondered if there was some standard template they work to so I know what they are going to ask about etc?
Plus advice on criminal convictions......Had a drunk and disorderly about 6 years ago and then a threatening behaviour about 17 years ago.
None were related to the mother.
Thanks
Hi There,
.
I would imagine there are set questions they ask, from memory when I had mine many years ago, I was asked about any concerns I had going forward about my childs care whilst he was with his mother, what I wanted to achieve by going to court, what issues I had faced that far, it was quite an informal chat on the phone and only took about 10 mins.
.
Just be honest and talk anout wanting to build a relationship with your child, don't have any digs at your ex no matter how tempting, just explain what issues you have had.
.
I wouldn't have thought your past convictions will be an issue as they didn't involve the mother but be prepared to answer any questions on them calmly if they do come up.
