Hi there
Unfortunately you should have contacted the CSA when you first got a letter from them. If a named father has doubts that he is the bio father then he can dispute this with the CSA. You still can but you will have to pay until it is determined one way or the other.
If you are the father then that brief sexual liaison will cost you dearly as you have a responsibility to pay for the child at least until, they are 16 and most likely further if they stay in education. You will be liable to pay whether you are in the childs life or not.
I think the important thing to remember here is that the child is innocent in all of this and shouldn't be made to suffer for the mistakes of its parents.
Hi There,
.
I think as said above, you will need to pay the CSA plus any back payments, which I am assuming are included in the amount they have stated, If you want to contest the paternity you can, but as said you will still need to pay until this is comfirmed.
