[Solved] Have not seen my 5 month old son in 4 weeks

Hi I'm new to the site in just losing all hope really my ex left me while pregnant and it has been a rollercoaster all the way she has been up and down with me completely she led me on all the way and I like a fool fell for it all I was seeing my son every week for three hrs on a Monday and three hrs on a weds and she was always with him we used to go out for lunch etc up until 4 weeks ago after expressing my feelings for her had stopped me seeing my son and has told me if I want to I have to speak to a solicitor. I cannot afford this I have too many outgoings no savings and probably earn too much for legal aid. She has gone back to work now full time and her mother of 60 is caring for my son. I do not think this is right I am not a bad person all I have done is care for her and my child and give them everything they need. I currently pay 42 pound a week onto her account for his up keep so this is also another outgoing preventing me from seeing a solicitor, I understand about maintenance and I would always pay it I want to but I just want to see him I'm missing out so much, I got involved with a very selfish and horrid woman and I feel I am being punished. Can anyone talk to me about any of this I just would like to know how to deal with it all from someone who may have gone through something similar , a bit of support if anything else. Thanks guys

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I would have a read of yoji's guides at the top opf the legal section, as there are a number of dads on here who have represented themselves in court, and the only cost then is the court fee, which is about £200. We can then also call on the advice of the Childrens Legal Centre
