Hi Folks,
I had my first child on Saturday - a baby girl!
I am already running out of options of forms of entertainment to while the wee hours of the night away and thought that getting involved in an online community might be the answer. I'm hoping to get top tips and info and just be able to voice issues that crop up. I'm very much the first of my friendship group to go down the baby route so there aren't many people to turn to haha.
I just wanted to say a quick hello and see what the rest of this site has to offer!
Thanks!
Congratulations on the baby girl and welcome to the forum
As for the entertainment, Netflix on your phone always helps pass the time till the next feed, are you demand feeding or doing it time based?
Hi BaptismByFire,
Welcome to dad. Congrats on the arrival of your daughter.
How are you doing? Are mum and daughter doing well?
For some late night reading why not check out these articles on the site:
Your newborn: do's and don't for the first few weeks
The good thing about being the first of your friendship group to be a dad is that by the time it's your friends time, you'll be an old hand and able to offer them advice π
How are you finding fatherhood so far? Got any questions ?
Congrats.
Gooner.
And, on the off chance you have already read those articles  , there is also this one in our Child Development and Play section of the site:

Congratulations on the new arrival! π bet she's a Daddy's girl already π
