Hello.
I have recently and successfully finalised, through the courts, access to see my children. Next up is the financial arrangements. She has historically stalled this process due to claiming I am hiding money and assets. I left with assets not totalling any more than about £6k and had to buy everything new. I did this to prevent too much upset for my children and to make sure everything familiar to them remained in place as best as possible.
We've previously exchanged Form E and, even through mediation, exchanged updated financial statements, but there is still no resolution on the horizon. The Judge advised us both to settle this between us and not drag it through the courts, but how best can I move this forward?
Hi,
Would further mediation sessions work? If no resolution, then if you return to court atleast you will have showed that you tried to settle out of court.
