Hi
We have a final hearing on Thursday and Friday
Can't afford solicitor or barrister
Got court bundle today caffcass
Report lies
Can I get hearing adjourned so short notice?
So maybe get barrister
Cafcass report so biased towards mum even twisting words in interview she had with mum and dad
Help
hi,
that is too short notice. my ex solicitor tried to adjourn hearing like 2 weeks before date, to give ex more time to get legal aid lol. i said no thanks. have feeling court will not allow ajournment this late and without valid reason.
do you mind giving more info about your case? and do you have a position statement ready?
You can ask the court for an adjournment , They may entertain it on the basis you want to obtain representation.. I don’t think they will accept it though . You can challenge what cafcass say in court . 2 weeks gives you enough time to prepare you evidence to defend your position, that’s what id do if I were you .did they do a section 7 ?
Position statement done and sent off
Just going through Cafcass laughable statement
Section 7 done year or so ago
2 days to court hearing
hi dave,
so what is cafcass recommending in their reports?
The most important part before you go to court Is what contact you were looking for and what cafcass have actually recommended. sometimes it don't matter what they write if they are offering fair contact
Supervised visits once s month contact centre or maybe community visit supervised by her dad once a month
we want 50%-50%
