-God is our father
-Son of God
-Father is your lifeforce energy
-Fathers surname printed on military gear
-Father is a holey spirit
This springs to mind when i think of the word father some powerful spirit who gives you your surname
A man can run a country,A man can run a galaxy
But may not see his own children after divorce,so how are the rights of fathers below that of mothers given we are look at so highly in all other categories and will it even change/be even r.g automatic shared custody ?
Maybe cos men were men and women were women and both knew their place and duty back when it started.
Not like recently were women think they don't need men and men are less, in a world were children can have two dads or two mums and the world seems to be a worse place for it?
Bit of an outdated attitude in that last comment I think! It certainly doesn't reflect the ethos of our forum.
I would say that the change is for the better in some respects. 20 years ago, there was no question that in a custody battle, the children would reside with the mother. Now it's not so clear cut, and it's moving away from the presumption that it should always be the mother.
