people , when dose a fact finding hearing take place, at start middle or the final hearing,

Very roughly around the half way stage, but not every case goes to a fact finding, here's a link to a flow chart that Illustrates the process quite well.

Well it might be that you won't have one, as I said it doesn't always go to FOF.

At the next hearing it might be a good idea to ask for a six month review hearing, just to make sure that everything is going as ordered and to keep the contact on track. Even when it is listed as a final hearing, it doesn't end up being o e! Just take it one step at a time and try not to worry too much about what might appen in the future... putting all your energy into what is happening with your case currentlay is the best thing to do.
