Hi
My ex is threatening to take me to the Csa, I pay £150 every four weeks towards the children (3) as well as have them over night the afternoon before I'm off ( work permanent 6-2) work as well as the day of ( example off Saturday and Sunday will have kids from Friday afternoon when they finish school till Sunday teatime) I also buy the kids clothes through out the year and have just bought their school uniforms , so i wouldn't say I don't do any thing for them. My ex is constantly telling me I have to have kids when she gets shifts ( week in advance) and wen I can't ( have rota done year in advance) she starts threatening me with csa. My income is £9.02 per hour at 37.5 hrs a week so roughly £330 pe week before tax, ni and pension. What can I do to stop this? Any ideas
Cheers
Mike
Hi Mike,
.
welcome to the forum.
.
There isn't really much you can do to stop her if she is dead set on contacting them, from the info you have given you would have to pay around £60 a week if she did. I would make sure she is aware that if she does go to CMS (formally CSA) that any additional money that you currently pay out for clothes uniforms ect will stop, by the sounds of things she would then be worse off.
