Hi,
I was in the same predicament last year, i have a skin head and they also told me body hair can read waaay further back than scalp hair.
When i turned up at court telling them i had not yet done anything(i was given 4 months breathing space) the judge was angry, she said i could have atleast tried to make an effort.(its not that i didnt try there was other circumstances involved)..anyway, best advice i can give is to turn up with results to some sort of test, even if it is a 3 month test it is something and it shows willing. i know they are not cheap but from personal experience dont turn up empty handed.
To touch upon the courts response, they will probably just refer to the order that you were given, writing to them trying to adjust it will certainly fall on deaf ears,as i tried all that myself . Dont expect a response back straight away either.
I hope that helps,
Paul
