[Solved] CSA Payments

Any advice please. Been paying aprox £500 CSA every month for nearly 3 years now for my two boys. I am still fighting in court for proper access. I'm now at the stage when solicitors bills are coming in. I cannot afford any big payments to them. Would the CSA reduce my payment considering my legal bills are because the mother is fighting me not to have proper contact.

Regards

No. Because:

1. Contact and the costs of bringing up children are 2 different matters.

The way the Courts see it, it costs the same to bring up children whether you see them or not - and whether the mother lets you see them or not.

Stick with the Court for access.

Have you considered self-representing? It may not suit your circumstances, but it should be considered.

Self repping in court isn't as daunting as it seems. Keep posting here and we will do everything we can to assist you.
