Hi help needed received a letter from the child support agency saying my historical child maintenance had been permanently written off and that I don't need to take any action plus they will not contact me again concerning this unpaid child maintenance. Three weeks later I get a letter from the child maintenance service saying that I need to pay these arrears and action against me will be taken if I do not pay. Where do I stand

what i would suggest is phone up CMS and tell them about the letter you received from CSA. so annoying. am going to ring them up so they can explain my arrears. never seem to go away.
