hi everyone
can anyone give an opinion that how children maintenance works out on self-employed and if I am earning about 250 a week how much roughly I have to pay? for 2 children
do csa take into account the debts etc as well?
Do I have to contact csa or she has to?
thanks
Hi,
As far as i know i dont think CSA take debts into account, they can possibly take travel costs into account or if you have shared custody they look at it then. Both of you can contact the CSA, they will start what you owe the day she makes the claim, never before or after so dont worry about that.
I have attached the link to calculate your CSA

Hi There,
.
When you are self employed, then CSA or CMS will look at your anual profits rather than what you pay yourself, they will look at what profits you have made after essential costs and work out your what you need to pay based on that. If you are recently self employed then they would set you at a base rate until you have enough evidence to show your profits from memory they wait 3 months.
