Hi Dad's,

I am going through a divorce.

Question is, I want to keep the kids, oldest is 9 and youngest is 6. How will the court judge see this and is this possible. Wife is in similar situation, we both don't have immediate family close to assist.

My problem is with full time job, I can't do both the school runs and days in office can stretch.

Can anyone suggest alternatives or has faced this and how you have resolved this.

Kind regards,
Dad.

Hi there,

It's possible for you to have the children living with you, but to be honest it's not something that happens often, unless your ex agrees then you would have to apply to court, and unless there are very good reasons the judge wouldn't want to remove the children from the mother.

If you were to apply the best way is to prepare a full plan of how you would care for the children in every way, showing that you have a support network that can help you.
