I'm in need of advice please.
My daughter turned 16 in April, I pay her mum money every month, I also contribute to any equipment etc my daughter may need during her School/college years, I pay for her mobile phone and she also stays with me every fortnight for the weekend and 3 evenings a week but not over night. She is about to start an apprenticeship, the agreement my ex wife & I had was that when our daughter started work my payments would stop, according to my ex wife I have to continue for another 3yrs until her apprenticeship is over, is this correct?
It depends on the apprencticeship, but your ex could be correct, It would be worth checking the CMS website for the calculation to see if you are paying the correct amount, and if you are, then you aren't required to pay anything additional. It really is up to you to agree at the moment unless you want to open a case with the CMS.
