[Solved] Change in Circumstances

Hi all,

I am currently paying via CSA (Current scheme post 2003). I recently received a letter from them saying they had been notified about a change of circumstances and wished pay slips etc. How far back can they recover payments, I was told that it would only be as far back as when they had been notified about the change of circumstances. Is this correct?

thanks in advance.

Regards
Al G

That's generally true, but there is a requirement for you to notify them of certain changes, so if you were supposed to do this, and you didn't, then I would think they will backdate on that basis.

Here's a summary of what you need to notify them of .. https://www.gov.uk/child-maintenance/changes-you-need-to-report
