why not ask for a PR order at the same time as a contact order?

Hi Kenny,

As ACTD says, if parentage is not in dispute and you are not on the birth certificate, you could request a PR order. It may also be worth requesting that as part of the proceeding that the CA order include your being added to the birth certificate (as part of the child's understanding of their identity - i.e. who their parents are).

Out of interest - as you say there is no parentage dispute, but there is a dispute over contact - are you subject to a child maintenance claim?

Thanks,
BD.

I'm not sure on that, but I can't see why a court wouldn't agree to it - after all, it is a statement of fact.
